The resort stands on a long, trapezoid shaped field, at the edge of a traditional village. The building is generated as a carved complex of seven units, on two different levels. The main volume follows the long axis of the field allowing the configuration of two large outdoor communal areas to the east and west. The composition is characterized by the creation of a dark base and a white upper floor with juxtaposing outlines in order to ensure individual outdoor and indoor spaces. The stone base is dark, earthy. The elevated concrete floor is white, floating, while the gradual escalation of height ensures the required diversity of the whole. The structure of the ensemble through the bilateral base-floor development follows traditional rules of material handling with a modern interpretation, respecting the contrapuntal relationship between a stone ground and a white floor, which is carved as a piece of white marble that feels as it is resting on the earthly dark base. On the ground floor, vertical openings of variable width, allow contact with the countryside and a controlled entrance of light. On the floor, the openings are processed as through a marble disk scratch. Six units are developed on two levels with a living area on the ground floor and a sleeping area on the top, while one unit develops only on the ground floor, seeking diversity to the whole, aiming at functional flexibility and a customized integration into the field. The height of the units staggers towards the adjacent street, while their size stays on scale according to the relatively small volumes of the traditional settlement, each engraved on a square of 4x4 meters. A small swimming pool, perceived as a water reservoir, as a sternum, is anchored in the southwest corner of the field.
